These “Shallow-Mount” Subwoofers feature multiple patent-pending features to deliver the big bass performance of a full-size subwoofer, but in a compact design that can be installed either behind or under seats depending on the type of vehicle. The mounting depth is just 2-7/8″ – less than half a typical subwoofer in this class.
This 10″ shallow subwoofer handles 1200 watts max., 300 watts nominal power, and delivers deep bass with top-notch sound quality thanks to features like Pioneer’s extremely strong and lightweight Interlaced Basalt/Carbon Fiber Reinforced IMPP Cone, the patent-pending M-shaped Surround, and more.

The volcanic-rock fibers create a cone that is lightweight, rigid, well damped, stable in temperature extremes, and more environmentally friendly. In short, this bass really rocks.
One of the new patent-pending features is called the “Air Suspension Control System”. This design locks in air between the main cone and drive cone, ensuring smoother and more precise movement of the cones, for superior linearity. The locked-in air behaves like a spring, so there’s no need for a traditional spider structure. The drive cone also deflects air pressure inside the enclosure, which further contributes to the remarkable bass of the small package.

When we say “custom” and “white glove treatment” we mean that your car will be taken apart by a professional with decades of experience, fixed up, parts installed, tested, and put back together better than when you brought the vehicle in.
Check out this Ferrari California that came in for a custom stereo and new touchscreen where we had to dissemble half of the interior to accomplish what the customer wanted. They put their trust into Next Level and left happy with the stereo loud.
We replaced all the speakers with Alpine brand and built a custom box with amp that did not compromise the trunk and that also would not get in the way of the retractable hard top convertible. As a final touch to the new speakers in the back seat, we illuminated them with Red LED lights and added the iconic prancing horse emblem.
After the speakers, we had to take apart the dash to install a new Alpine touchscreen media unit.

After the products and wiring are installed and tested, we added custom design to make the system look like it came from factory. The factory speakers were replaced with Alpine as well as the 107 touchscreen from Alpine in the dash.

Alpine USA has released their newest touch screen that looks and feels like it came right the car manufacture. The company called us (Next Level) and awarded us with one of the first units to arrive in the United States. It’s called the Alpine Halo9. A customer heard the benefits of this new media unit including Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and wanted it installed in their Ferrari.

Torrance, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2018) – Looking to fulfill consumer requests for a large screen aftermarket system that doesn’t require custom installation, Alpine Electronics today launched the iLX-F309, an in-dash system that brings the 9-inch screen size to a variety of vehicles, the 2018 International CES taking place Jan. 9-12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“Alpine blazed the trail with the first vehicle-specific 9-inch systems back in 2014, targeted to trucks and SUVs, but consumers have continued to request a model that will fit into a variety of vehicles,” said Mike Anderson, vice president and general manager, aftermarket business unit, Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. “The iLX-F309 represents a new step as it brings the 9-inch screen into a number of vehicles without the need for custom installation.”
The iLX-F309 is an AM/FM/audio/video receiver with a 9-inch WVGA touch screen and mech-less design (no CD/DVD slot). It uses a 1-DIN chassis for installation but the screen “hovers” in front of the vehicle’s dash, allowing the oversize screen to be added to a variety of vehicles without the need for custom installation. The iLX-F309’s “HALO9” nickname is descriptive for the screen’s unique hovering position and its 9-inch size.
Alpine continues to be the only major aftermarket manufacturer to offer complete systems that are larger than the standard 6.1 or 7-inch screens. Up to this point, Alpine’s 9 and 10-inch models were vehicle-specific and required special dash bezels to not disrupt the layout or electronics of the vehicle’s dashboard. The introduction of the iLX-F309 HALO9 and its hovering screen now brings the 9-inch form factor into many more vehicles.
Installation Fitment:
The 9-inch screen is attached to an adjustable mount connected to a 1-DIN chassis. Once installed, the screen and mount are fixed to the chassis for a sturdy installation. The screen hovers over or in front of the dash while its rear housing tapers off cleanly at the edges for a thin and modern silhouette. At its default position, the screen’s sliding mount is pushed out, sitting at a 90-degree angle and the bottom of the screen is centered with the 1-DIN chassis. At this point, the screen can be angled at select positions to assist during installation, help with visibility, or move it away from other items on the dashboard. The screen can be positioned 20 millimeters (mm) back from its default position, to move it closer to the dashboard. It can be moved up or down 30mm from its default position and can be tilted up or down at a maximum of 45-degrees, depending on the position of the up/down location.
Entertainment Features:
The iLX-F309 has a suite of entertainment features. Its mech-less design is suited for smartphone compatibility through Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ with the Google Assistant. Maps, music, messages and phone calls from the iPhone® or Android™ phone are controlled from and displayed on the iLX-F309’s touch screen. The iLX-F309 also has Bluetooth® wireless technology with audio streaming, a built-in HD Radio™ tuner, and is SiriusXM™ Ready (requires SiriusXM SXV300 Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit, sold separately, and SiriusXM subscription). There is a USB port for video or audio playback (FLAC [Free Lossless Audio Codec], MP3, WMA and AAC), an AUX input, and an HDMI input. A second HDMI input can be added via the KCX-630HD HDMI Selector (sold separately). A CD/DVD player can also be added via the DVE-5300 CD/DVD player (sold separately). Select factory features are retained and vehicle information is displayed when used with the iDatalink® Maestro module (sold separately, retained features and vehicle information vary by vehicle).
System Expansion:
The iLX-F309 has a rear camera input and overlays guidelines onto the camera image on the 9-inch screen to aid with distance judging (camera sold separately). Multiple cameras (for the rear and side) can be added when used through the KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Switcher (sold separately). Electrical accessories like a light bar or motorized tonneau cover can be controlled by the iLX-F309’s touch screen when connected to the KAC-001 External Accessory Controller (sold separately),

Garmin recently debuted the latest additions to their line of GPSMAP chartplotters and plotter/sonar combo units—the GPSMAP 742 and 942 touchscreen chartplotters, and the GPSMAP 1042xsv and 1242xsv keyed chartplotter. Available in a range of sizes from 7”-12” units, with built-in sonar options, the concept behind Garmin’s new units is to offer solutions to every boat owner, bringing premium features and the latest in chartplotting technology to budget-conscious customers.
The GPSMAP 742/942 series offers 7” and 9” sunlight-readable touchscreen chartplotters or combo units, with a 10Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver for smooth on-scree navigation. These units expanded on Garmin’s popular 7” touchscreen units that were introduced in 2010, offering larger screen sizes and the latest features. The 742 and 942 are equipped with wireless connectivity for the Garmin mobile APP, connectivity to the Garmin Marine Network for easy data transfer, and NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 connectivity for autopilot, VHF, digital switching and other sensors.
The GPSMAP 1042xsv/1242xsv series offers 10” and 12” options with a sunlight-readable screen and keypad interface. The Keypad features a multi-function rotary knob that allows easy menu navigation even in rough water, as well as hotkeys that can be programmed for quick access to the user’s favorite features. The 1042xsv and 1242xsv offer the above mentioned features and capabilities of the 742 and 792, and are also equipped with built-in CHIRP sonar, CHIRP ClearVü and CHIRP SideVü.

A family came to us with a Nissan Van and wanted to customize it for traveling with their 4 small children. We gutted the van and built everything from a retractable limo TV between the cabin and the cockpit. Another flip down TV was installed for the back row seating with headphones that sync to the TV’s sound. We had the head rests of each back row seat embroidered with each child’s name to match their car seats. 2 luxury seats were installed in the middle row. We built a wall behind the back row for a clean cargo truck space. Power supply plugs were installed under the retractable limo style TV on the floor. We also have the rear flip down tv’s camera display in the drivers rear view mirror to see the kids in the back when the retractable TV is up. Underneath the rear view mirror, we installed a Passport Escort radar detector for long travels. In the dash of the cockpit, we installed a touch screen media unit.
